“Committed To Developing and Promoting Peaceful Living
Dan Sullivan and Mary Connaughty, owners of
Dragonfly Properties of NC, LLC, have been renovating
and custom-building homes in the Charlotte area for
over 10 years.  Dan and Mary share a love of nature
and a passion for creating homes that harmonize with
their surroundings and their owners.  Natural materials
such as river rock, flagstone, hand-hewn timber, and rough-sawn lumber are often used to create rustic features such as a stunning stone fireplace, a cozy kitchen, or a peaceful study.

“We take great care to preserve the natural surroundings throughout the building process, resulting in a serene setting at ease with nature.  Each home will feature a unique blend of today’s conveniences with yesterday’s materials and an eye towards craftsmanship. “

Dragonfly Properties currently has three private communities under construction. All are in Eastern Cabarrus County outside of the Concord City limits with easy access to Charlotte (40 minutes).  Amenities include:

Ÿ
A private road designed to ensure the owners’ privacy and ability to truly enjoy their surroundings.
Ÿ
Large wooded lots, many situated on streams, creeks, or springs.
Ÿ
Equestrian friendly preserves.

The first community is called Rocky Creek Farms, a 20-acre private community with 6 home sites.  The one remaining available site includes 3 acres and a very charming rustic barn.  It is a beautiful lot located at the highest elevation in the neighborhood with a great view.

The second community is called Cold Creek Farms, a 28-acre private community with a total of 5 home sites located off Hwy. 49 minutes from the Cabarrus Arena.  The remaining 3 sites range in size from 4-10 acres with bubbling creeks, natural springs, and plenty of trees.

The newest community is called Alexander Estates, a 24-acre private community with a total of 5 home sites convenient to I-485, Concord, and Charlotte. The 4 remaining sites are all 4-5 acres in size with a beautiful mix of cedars and hard woods. An equestrian friendly neighborhood, with lot 1 & 5 partially fenced.
